SPB: Do you have any vinyl that you own strictly for collector’s purposes and never listen to?
Blanton: I have never really bought a record specifically to collect it but I have bought a few records that ended up falling under that category. I was in Berlin, Kreuzberg, specifically on a tour with another band I played in. I bought a Euro copy of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mothers Milk. No idea why I bought it, but at this point it’s kinda valuable and when I see it I remember Coretex Records. There is never a scenario where this record will get spun in my house.
