Focused on high-quality reissues of underground 1990s bands, Solid Brass Records has launches with We'll Hide Away: complete Recordings 1993-1995 by Grain, to be followed by Nuzzle's No Love Live That - TStandford Sessions and a new album from High Aura'd songwriter Jogn Kolodij's reunited band The Pines of Rome.
Noting the later, the label will focus exclusively on reissues, but also '90s influenced sounds of today. All three initial releases were mastered by Dave Gardner.
Cleveland-based Grain were active in the early to mid 1990s, playing post-hardcore that, at the time, was hard to categorize, releasing two 7”s, a split 7” with Harriet The Spy, and three songs that appeared on different compilations.
We’ll Hide Away: Complete Recordings 1993-1995 will release in April 2023.
