Lorne Behrman's When I Hit The Floor

Lorne Behrman has a new solo EP coming out, a debut solo album called When I Hit The Floor, due Oct. 15 on Spaghetty Town Records. Behrman goes it along on this record, but has previously played with New York-based bands such as The Dimestore Haloes, L.E.S. Stitches, The Dead Tricks, and The Sweet Things.

The EP includes four songs in total, with Behrman handling vocals and guitar and backed by a lineup of drummer Hector Lopez (Alejandro Escovedo/The Sweet Things), keyboardist Rob Clores (Jesse Malin, Black Crowes, Alejandro Escovedo), and singer Dana Athens (Jane Lee Hooker). 

The song explores Behrman's struggles with substance abuse, which is part of a larger theme on the EP.
