Pure Noise Records announces new Weekday Records

Pure Noise Records is joining efforts with Sony Music on a new label, Weeday Records, which will focus on non-punk bands that strike the ownership team.

In a statement, Pure Noise founder Jake Round says, "I'm very excited and proud to announce Weekday Records, our new partnership with Sony Music. We'll be signing and developing artists at Weekday in the same way we've done at Pure Noise over the last eight years but will be able to branch out a little bit genre wise, which is exciting."

The label will launch with new items from Jule Vera and Lydia.
