Jawbone Press has recently published a new Swans book titled Sacrifice and Transcendence -- The Oral History. Written by Nick Soulsby, the book explores the history of Swans, Michael Gira, Jarboe, and touches base with more than 30 past and present members of the long-running project. In total, the book pulls from 125 interviewees to tell the band's tale.
