The Acacia Strain completes new album

Official press release: Western Massachusetts' chuggernauts The Acacia Strain, have completed work on their new album, which will be released July 20th in North American and August 2nd in Europe via Prosthetic Records. The band recorded the follow up to 2008's "Continent" at Planet Z Studios in Hadley, MA with Zeuss (Hatebreed, Chimaira, Shadows Fall) handling producing, mixing and mastering. The band chronicled the sessions through a series of video blogs. Check out the latest, and final blog here. The band is also running a contest through Twitter to guess the title of their new album. Each day at noon EST, the band will post one letter of the album title. The first fan who can properly guess the title, will win a T shirt. The band will also be participating in "Cool Tour" in July/August with As I Lay Dying, Underoath, Between the Buried And Me, Blessthefall, Architects, Cancer Bats and War of Ages.
