The Geeks Robbed In California

Posted in Breaking News on February 13, 2007

Last night in San Francisco, The Geeks (South Korea) had their van broken into, and a lot of belongings were stolen. Here is a statement from the band's label, Think Fast! Records:
No, they're not setting up a PayPal account and begging for donations, but if you can, please try to make it out to one of their shows, and pick up a t-shirt or CD. They lost in excess of $3,000 worth of personal belongings (laptops, iPods, a bass guitar, etc) but luckily they didn't leave their band money for the thieves to steal. It's very unfortunate when this happens to bands on tour, especially ones who travel half way around the world and are already in huge debt in order to make the tour possible...not to mention The Geeks are the last band in the world who deserve to have this happen to them. If any of you have met them, you already know that they are the most sincere, down to earth people, who are always willing to break their back in order to help someone.
The Geeks will be on tour into the first week of March. The remaining dates can be found by clicking "read more."
