The Collected Works of Neutral Milk Hotel, a box set

Merge Records will soon release a box set: The Collected Works of Neutral Milk Hotel, out February 24.

In 2011, Jeff Mangum released nearly all of the band's output on a limited edition box set under Neutral Milk Hotel Records, operated by Mangum and his mother. In 2023, Merge Records is handling the first digital release of the material, plus an expanded version, listed in entirety below.

Among the new material is the Little Birds 7", demo + live track, revealed now and shared below. The song was initially written in 1998 near the end of the band.
