A new duet project featuring Steve Lake (Zounds) and Mia Dean (Antler Family) will release on April 7, with the project titled Blood Moon Wedding: An American Nightmare.
The English Lake and American Dean combine a number of styles in a tale of forbidden love and impending doom, on display in lead single "Spell."
The two are joined on the record by Tom Dean (Antler Family, Code Of The West, Oakland Opera) on keys and bass, Jason Willer (Jello Biafra And The Guantanamo School Of Medicine, Charger, Acid King, UK Subs) on drums, and multi-instrumentalist David Coulter (The Pogues, Tom Waits, Test Department) on musical saw, violin, and Leslie piano.
In advance of the record’s official unveiling, BLOOD MOON WEDDING has released their first video single for the track “Spell.”
The album contains10 tracks in total and will release on LP, cd, and digitally on April 7 via Mobilization Recordings.
