Avail + Hot Water Music (and a reissue)

Posted in Bands on December 16, 2021

Available now, Avail's debut album Satiate is has been repressed on vinyl for the first time in 15 years -- 30 years after its initial release. The band is also onboard for three live shows with Hot Water Music in the southeastern US next year.

Avail broke hiatus with a few reunion dates in 2019 previously.

"Satiate is the missing link in many peoples AVAIL record collections. Although an artifact that displays the band just beginning to find our own way, certain songs show a clear path to where we were heading. This repress is for the collectors, the folks who stuck by us from the start, and for new folks wanting to listen to some old music," vocalist Tim Barry says in a prepared statement.

It has been reissued previously on many formats and labels, including on CD when the band was on Lookout in the late 1990s.
