A new CIVIC every 2 years

Posted in Records on March 21, 2025

Australian indie-punk band CIVIC has shared "Chrome Dipped," the title track from the band's third album. Chrome Dipped, the record, will release on May 30 on ATO.

“We’d been pushing a sort of ’70s Australian punk sound with our first two records, but I think we wanted to take it in a different direction,” guitarist Lewis Hodgson says via press release. “I think it was all starting to feel a bit stale.”

The band last released Taken By Force (2023), a follow-up to Future Forecast (2021). They will tour North America this spring, dates in UK/EU this summer, and also have dates lined up in Australia in support of Sex Pistols feat. Frank Carter.
