New Frontman Joins Hatesphere

Posted in Bands on July 1, 2010

After several auditions in Copenhagen, Hatesphere has officially announced the addition of vocalist Esben "Esse" Hansen (of As We Fight) to their line-up. Hansen replaces Jonathan Albrechtsen, who left Hatesphere earlier this year just before their first U.S. tour with The Black Dahlia Murder. Hansen comments: "It didn't take me much time to decide that I wanted to be the new singer of Hatesphere. Besides making some of the best metal music on Danish soil Hatesphere is one of the coziest bands in Denmark. And I'm very excited to be a permanent part of it all. Looking forward to screaming my lungs out for you on stage!" Meanwhile, bass player Mixen Lindberg has left the group "for other projects." Mixen will temporarily be replaced by former Hatesphere member Mikael Ehlert.
