Fellsilent Call It Quits

Posted in Splits on April 10, 2010

Fellsilent have decided to disband. The group offered the following statement on the matter:

“..It is with heavy hearts but clear minds that we announce that this is the end of FELLSILENT. There’s no big dramatic story to tell, but after 7 years of putting everything we had into this band, we’ve simply all moved on and are taking our musical creativity into new and exciting projects:

Browne & Neema are taking the dirty groove to a whole new level with their new MONUMENTS project – this is some proper serious shit, you can check out the filth here: http://www.myspace.com/thisismonuments /http://www.facebook.com/thisismonuments

Acle is continuing full time with his TESSERACT legacy – the album and some killer European tours are coming up this summer, so make sure you keep yourselves updated: http://www.myspace.com/tesseract

Joe has been busy working on his new lyrical project, the Sonick Movement (which features Noddy on drums) – you can check it out here: http://www.myspace.com/sonickmovement

Noddy is now at Drumtech in London and is continuing to play session drums for various bands, as well as giving lessons – if you need to get in touch, hit him up here: http://www.myspace.com/nodz33

We’d like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all the people that showed FELLSILENT the amazing support that we were lucky enough to experience in our time together as a band. Every single one of us would like to thank anyone that ever came to a show, bought a CD, repped a shirt, let us sleep on their floor/in their bath, or just generally spread the FS word – thank you, your love will not be forgotten. We’d also like to send a special thanks to our close friends and families who stuck with us from the very beginning as well as all the bands we ever toured with, especially ENTER SHIKARI who looked after us like brothers. Big thanks also to Paul Rivers at The Pitz and our labels BASICK and SUMERIAN for the belief they showed in us.

So that’s it, make sure you check out our new projects, and hopefully we’ll see some of you at a show again soon!

Much love,

FS xxx “
