Sunday State is coming
Sunday State - s/t

April 2 will bring us the debut album from Sunday State, a Pacific Northwest group featuring members of Mudhoney, Mission Spotlight, and The Pynnacles), a self-titled album to release on No Night Travel Recordings.

The project began with Michael Carothers and Kurt Foster, who later recuitred Jeremy Dietz (Mission Spotlight) on bass, Thom Sullivan (The Pynnacles) on drums, and Steve Turner (Mudhoney/Green River) as the project developed.

Check out the song "White Pine County," which was recorded with Ken Stringfellow (The Posies, Big Star), who also plays bass on this particular track.

March 12, 2021 Update: Snappy Little Numbers will release the band's debut on April 2. Check out another new song, a cover of Gordon Lightfoot's "Sundown" below.
