Bruce Lee Band, an ongoing project from Mike Park (Asian Man Records) will release a new EP called Divisoin in the Heartland, coming on May 28. Park is joined by a cast of musicians on the record, including Jeff Rosenstock, Dan Potthasy, and Kevin Higuchi.

On a new single called "BLT (Bruce Lee Theme)," Rosenstock (who just released his own ska record) sings in Korean over a classic, frantic Third Wave ska beat.

"Part of me was excited to do it because it feels fresh to sing in a different language, and I thought our pals in Korea might have fun singing along with Mike's vague nonsense phrases, shouted by an idiot with a lot of heart," Rosenstock says of the song and singing in a new language. "I think we often look at language as a barrier, but it's actually a window into someone else's reality, and that s--- is beautiful to me."

The band previousily shared title track "Division in the Heartland."

SPB caught up with Mike Park for an interview in 2020.
