Debut full-length from Kitty Kat Fan Club out soon

At the end of the month Kitty Kat Fan Club will release its debut full-length, following two 7"s. The band was formed by Mike Park (Asian Man Records), inspired after Park realized his last full band experience came with Skankin' Pickle, who disbanded in 1996.

Kitty Kat Fan Club play indie/twee with influence from the likes of Cub, Belle and Sebastian, Alvvays, and more, with dual vocals playing a core role. It features members of Just Friends, Hard Girls,  and Stickup Kid. Watch a video for "Happy Now, Loving You" here.

Speaking of the video, the band says, "We got together and crammed into Mike Park’s little practice room. Filmed on an iPhone 10, the idea was to just play the song and treat it like a live show. We did around 8 takes and we picked the best one. We love it and hope you love it too!”

Dreamy Little You releases on May 31 on Asian Man Records. Park released a record with Ogikubo Station last year.

Kitty Kat Fan Club is:

Mike Park (Asian Man Records, Skankin' Pickle, Ogikubo Station) (guitar)

Mike Huguenor (Jeff Rosenstock Band/Hard Girls) (Keys/Guitar)

Brianda Goyos (Just Friends) (vocals)

Jon McMaster (Stickup Kid) (bass)

Catherine Jones (vocals)

Sim Castro (guitar)

Justin Amans (drums)
