Notably, Scream has opened up a Kickstarter campaign to fund recording the band's fifth full-length album, to be titled DC Special.
The band originally formed in 1979 and featured an original lineup of brothers Pete and Franz Stahl, bassist Skeeter Thompson, and drummer Kent Stacks, who plan to record at Inner Ear Studio with Don Zientara before the end of September (when the studio is set to close).
The band's most recent release was a remastered rerelease of No More Censorship on Southern Lord Records in 2017.
The fundraiser officially launches on Sept. 8.
