Originally released in 2002 by 5 Rue Christine, 5RC/Kill Rock Stars is preparing a deluxe reissue of Hold Your Horse Is by Hella. The new deluxe edition is fully remastered and includes a 3-song demo. It will release as a physical LP + 7" on Sept. 1 and is available digitally now.
The band initially formed as a 4-piece in high school, eventually shifting to a 2-piece lineup. The band went on hiatus in 2008 and returned in 2011 with Tiger. Check out some SPB archival reviews.
