Lamniformes - The Lonely Atom

Previously teased in our annual Pass The Mic feature, Lamniformes, the solo project of Ian Cory, released a new album yesterday, April 5, called The Lonely Atom. The second full-length from the Lamniformes moniker is described as "an incisive, mesmerizingly catchy heavy alternative rock album about the isolation of modern life, the fractured projections of the self that exist in digitally mediated spaces, and the universally-felt desperation for real connection in an increasingly atomized world," the label says.

it is out now on limited cassette as well as digitally, courtesy of people | places | records. The label is also preparing to release new Temporal Waves material soon.
