Galecstasy has a new album out at the end of the month. Recored with an improvised trio under the name Galecstasy & mike watt Trio, the album is titled Wattzotica and will release on Jan. 28 through Mystery Circles.
"Watt comes in with something different than anybody else could come with. There's this structure only Watt will play, and then I can do something weird that I could never do with another bass player. This is why this record and all the records that are still coming are so special. We love this music," drummer Raquel Bell says of the project, formed in 2018 in Los Angeles, CA.
