Slow Shiv from Nashville, TN, just shared the single "Ridiculous Beast" from their upcoming EP, II, out next month. The band features a lineup of Jordan Smith, Dan Diaz, and Jordan McGee, with members previously playing in Diarrhea Planet and Advent, generally describing the goal of this band to be "to make pop music for heavy music fans and heavy music for pop fans."
Formed in 2023 after a Diarrhea Planet reunion rekindled Smith's zest for live music, the band released an EP in 2024 previously. II will release on May 22.
