Marissa Paternoster, guitarist and vocalist if Screaming Females, has announced a solo album under her own name. Don Giovanni Records will release the album, Peace Meter, on Dec. 3.
Paternoster began work on the album early in Covid-19 shutdowns, after a tour had been cancelled. While a solo project, artists such as Andy Gibbs (Thou), Shanna Polley (Snakeskin), and Kate Wakefield (Lung) also contribute.
The lead single, "White Dove" is available on streaming platforms now, with a video too:
Paternoster has also released albums under the moniker Noun.
