Math rock trio Denude has a new LP out in early 2025, A Murmuration of Capitalist Bees. The band is based between Chicago, IL and Milwaukee, WI and features Matthew Parrish (Piglet, Dr Manhattan), James David (Murder in the Red Barn, Fuiguirnet), and Jesse Schomisch (Fuiguirnet).
While specific information about the new record is still to come, the band shared a new single this week, “12th Battle on the Isonzo.” “We exist atop layers of excess, seeking happiness in the vacuum between peaks and valleys. I’m aware of the horrors that result from my participation and can do nothing to prevent them,” explains guitarist/vocalist James David.
The LP will release via Expert Work Records/Dipterid Records.
