The Jesus and Mary Chain double live album

Posted in Records on July 8, 2023

The Jesus and Mary Chain has announced a new live double album, Sunset 666, out August 4 on Fuzz Club. The album was recorded live in 2018 at the Hollywood Palladium, in support of Nine Inch Nails, playing a set that spans the band's career.

The band shares a lead single, "Sometimes Always," featuring Isobel Campbell on vocals.

The band says:

We're thrilled to share this version of "Sometimes Always" with our friend Isobel Campbell doing the vocal which Hope Sandoval did on the studio version. It’s from our new double album Sunset 666 which captures two shows we did at the Hollywood Palladium with Nine Inch Nails and Isobel in December 2018. It was the first time we'd performed that song for god knows how many years.
