Tomorrow Never Comes
Epitaph (2023)

Other write-ups I see of Tomorrow Never Comes are basically calling this Rancid V, Part 2. The cover art looks a bit like the back of that album, actually. And while there is some merit to the comparison, I think that description is misleading. This record absolutely shares that style of short, repetitive, and angry punk songs but it has an equal balance … Read more

Rancid

Trouble Maker
Hellcat (2017)

It’s strange to me to realize that Rancid just released their ninth album. The Dropkick Murphys have been a mainstay in the punk rock community for nearly twenty years. The band has developed a fiercely devoted following through their energetic live shows, sing-a-long choruses, and unbreakable spirits. The Dropkicks made their mainstream introduction through the song "Shipping Out To Boston" which featured heavily … Read more

One Question Interviews • October 1, 2013

Jello BiafraSPB: What do you think of bands playing albums in their entirety as a touring concept? Is it a way to reinvigorate the album format? Biafra: It's a way for someone as versatile as the Melvins to keep playing their hottest towns several times a year, and never play … Read more
