Call Me Animal: A Tribute to the MC5 is out now, raising funds for Jail Guitar Doors. The 22-track compilation and tribute to the MC5 features Keith Morris, Kim Thayil, Mike Watt, Lydia Lunch, J Mascis, and more, paying tribute to the recently deceased Wayne Kramer of the MC5. The collection initially released on Black Friday 2023 via Saustex Records and was a slow-to-develop labor of love from Memphis-based guitarist, bandleader and producer Joey “Joecephus” Killingsworth, who put the piece together with his band/collective Joecephus, the George Jonestown Massacre, and his production partner Dik LeDoux, including Kramer appearing on "Human Being Lawnmower" with Jello Biafra.
It is now available on limited double vinyl and CD.
