Big sounds from miniaturized

Calling San Diego, CA home, miniatures will release their self-titled debut album on March 31, 2023.

The band features guitarist/vocalist Timothy Joseph (Buckfast Superbee, The Palace Ballroom, Phasers on Stun), drummers Mario Rubalcaba (Earthless, Rocket from the Crypt, Hot Snakes), Chris Prescott (Pinback, No Knife, Montalban Quintet), bassists Brian Desjean (No Knife, Get your death on, Mistress 77) and Chris Torres (Ron Blair band, Chris Torres Band, and they shared their first single, "Cave In," this week:

The band formed as a Tom Petty tribute in 2017, evolving in the five years since while drawing influence from Petty's songwriting with additional influence from pop, alt rock, and Latin music, in contrast to Joseph's more angular-in-style previous bands.
