Maxwell Stern 7-inch

Posted in Records on August 10, 2021

On Wednesday Maxwell Stern (Signals Midwest) will release a new 7" vinyl and digital EP titled Teeth Of A Key via Lauren Records.

The two-song EP takes a minimal approach in contrast to  Stern's previous Impossible Sum release.

Stern explains:

This EP owes a great debt to the late great Jason Molina and his Songs: Ohia "Didn't It Rain" LP, which was recorded entirely live in Philadelphia in 2002. I love how you can hear the room on that record: errors, noises, breathing, the musicians talking - it's like you're there in this space too, listening to them play.
