World/Inferno Friendship Society are back

Posted in Records on November 10, 2019

World/Inferno Friendship Society return to action with the scheduled release date of All Borders are Porous to Cats, set for release on Jan. 17, 2020 on ALternative Tentacles. To pull a clip from the press release, this album is "3 years in the making, 4 missed release dates, 5 lost band members, many a bridge burned, and a defamation lawsuit waiting to happen."

The record itself follows the story of an undocumented refugee who is framed for a crime and requires the help from a cast of diverse characters along the journey. It's the seventh full-length from the group. The band is also releasing One Smashed Window for Every Divided Soul, an illustrated book that narrates the journey of the album and also includes tour journal entries.

Listen to lead single "Freedom Is A Wilderness Made For You And Me" below.
