New York in 64 to record debut for Magic Bullet

Magic Bullet has announced that New Jersey-based band New York in 64 will record their debut for the label this year.

The band, featurinng past and current members of You and I, The Assistant, Capacities, and more, are reuniting after 15 years off. The new album is expected to release in early 2015.

Dates set for New England Metal & Hardcore Festival 2015

The 17th annuyal New England Metal & Hardcore Festival will take place April 17-19 at The Palladium in Worcester, MA. Only the dates have been announced at present, with the first wave of bands to be public on Dec. 8. The festival got its start in 1999. Read more

Dolittle 25th anniversary boxset

The Pixies Doolittle has been re-issued as a 3 CD/LP box set yesterday, Dec. 2. Now 25 years old, the re-issue contains all of the album's B-sides, Peel Sessions and demos from the time, and the original album. The reunited band released Indie Cindy earlier this year. Read more
