Welcome to our almost daily quickie Q&A feature: One Question Interviews. Follow us on facebook and twitter and we'll post one interview every Monday-Thursday. Okay, sometimes we miss a day, but it will be four each week.

After our social media followers get the first word, we post a wrap up here at the site and archive 'em here. This week we took a new angle in a "get to know us" segment of SPB on SPB interviews with our staff.

Scott Wilkinson (Scene Point Blank)

SPB/Aaron H: What album changed or had the biggest impact on your life?

Scott: I would have to say Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band by The Beatles. The record came out when I was 12 and dominated my record player (yeah I'm that old). The Eastern influence was there in “Within You Without You,” as well as the psychedelic sound of “Being for the Benefit of Mr Kite.” The two killer tunes on the record for me were “A Day in The Life” and “She's Leaving Home.”

Loren (Scene Point Blank)

SPB:/Spyros: Which is the most difficult and which is the most enjoyable part of being an editor for a music webzine?

Loren: The most difficult is simply finding time. As a global site that, in turn, means we get submissions from everywhere and at all hours of the day. The most enjoyable part is in connecting with musicians and labels, the people who create what I love. It’s given me another level of connection to an art form I’ve always appreciated, and I like to think it’s also given me a deeper understanding.

Aaron H (Scene Point Blank)

SPB/Loren: What's a band totally outside of your typical stylistic preferences that's you're an avid fan of?

Aaron: I'd say there are two answers I could give for this. I grew up with a mom obsessed with ‘90s pop/alt-country so a lot of that was playing in the house while I was growing up. I latched onto Garth Brooks and I have never let go. I can still sing most of those early hits. He was also the very first concert I ever went to. The other would be Otis Redding. He's in my top 5 all-time favorite artists. Sorry I didn't exactly give you a "band."

Spyros Stasis (Scene Point Blank)

SPB/Scott: What was the best show you have seen this past year?

Spyros: It has to be the gig Neurosis did in Athens back in July (2014). I had seen them twice in the UK, but that last time in Athens really stood out for me. I mean, when you see them at stage playing songs from A Sun That Never Sets and Given to the Rising they are just insane. But when they go back to their earlier days with "Locust" and "The Doorway" it is just a whole different experience. Three times I've seen them now and cannot wait for the next one.
