Impaled will re-record The Dead Shall Remain Dead

Posted in Records on September 29, 2013

Thirteen years after first released their dubut, The Dead Shall Remain Dead, Impaled will have re-recorded and will re-release it as The Dead Still Dead Remain. The record has been unavailable on CD for the past decade due to legal hurdles.

Remaining faithful to the original, the new album was recorded and mixed by Vinnie Wojno, features similar "but more revolting" artwork, and includes the return of original vocalist Leon del Meurte. "It was like the last thirteen years of backstabbing and spitefulness never happened," he says of the recording.

Willowtip is set to release the new version on Oct. 29.
