New Interpol Song Online

Posted in Bands on April 28, 2010

A brief e-mail from Interpol showed up a short while ago:

Hello everyone.

We're stirring. Please take a moment to visit our website: www.interpolnyc.com We want to show you something. And make sure you come back soon. We will be posting important information and dates in the coming weeks.

Thank you. Interpol

The site includes this widget, which offers a new song called "Lights" for an e-mail address.

It's five and a half minutes long, it's got some dark moody guitars, and it definitely sounds like Interpol. No new album details, but we did hear in November that one was due early this year. "That big wash of reverb? It's back," drummer Sam Fogarino told Paste then. Hear for yourself.
