Ben Quad's Ephemera

Posted in Records on October 8, 2024

Ben Quad has an EP in the works, out Oct. 25 on Pure Noise Records. The band recently joined the label, sharing two singles ahead of the upcoming Ephemera EP.

The band shares the title track today, noting:

This song is the boiling point of the record. All beauty and happiness in the world seem to be tainted by capitalism (“Why does every flower wilt away?”). We, as victims of a negligent system, can only ask ourselves why we continue to accept perpetual cruelty. The final chorus of the record is a proclamation that we are nothing more than disposable in the eyes of our supposed protectors.

They previously released I'm Scared That's All There Is EP in 2022.

The band is on tour beginning Oct. 9 through the end of the month, then are poised to join the  Pure Noise Records tour along with Microwave, Prince Daddy & The Hyena, and Just Friends.
