Poison the Well are currently writing for their next full-length effort. The band issued the following statement:
So we started writing our next record a few weeks ago here in Florida. Our practice space is basically a gutted building that the owner was sweethearted enough to let us invade, so we cleared out a space and set up all of our equipment...We have a small handful of songs done so far and I think we're all really stoked on how they're coming out. I'm not going to waste my breathe (or my finger dexterity?) trying to describe what they sound like because that's always an impossible task, but so far they don't necessarily sound like any of the other records, and they rock pretty furiously.
