Matt Latinen returns as Mt. Oriander

Count Your Lucky Stars has set a release date of Oct. 21for the upcoming Mt. Oriander album, Then the Lightness Leaves and I Become Heavy Again. Mt. Oriander comes from Empire! Empire! (I Was a Lonely Estate)'s front person Keith Latinen. While led by Latinen, the project includes a full backing band and picks up where he left off in 2016, but with a more personal element.

In addition to Latinen, who plays guitar, bass, drums, trumpet, and sings, guest musicians include: Matt Hull, Brandon Lutmer, Warren Franklin, Mat Halliday, Andrew Stefano, Cathy Latinen, Colleen Dow, Ana Hughes Perez, Ben Hendricks, Brian Carley, Nick Kwas, Elliot Green, and Jacob West.

The label also released Stargazing by Expert Timing today, Sept. 23.
