Selfmadegod Records are proud to announce the impending release of Swedish grindcore outfit Sickrecy's debut album Salvation Through Tyranny by issuing the records cover artwork, track listing and video for the lead single "Voice Your Opinion" before the albums CD only release on October 28th.
Sickrecy were formed in late 2019/early 2020 by Martin Eriksson who teamed up with fellow band mate Marcus Dahl from the crust and death act World In Ruins and industrial death metal band Damned To Downfall. Completed by Adde Mitroulis on vocals who is well known for his work in Birdflesh and General Surgery. They released their first EP as Sickrecy in July 2021. First World Anxiety delivered six rapid and intense tracks infusing crust, d-beat and death metal, with lyrics covering social awareness on topics such as the decline of free speech, intolerance and the problems with globalization. Sickrecy's first full length, Salvation Through Tyranny, magnifies these attributes to a more explosive degree, with ten new damaging tracks fueled by the members socio-political intensity. The record was recorded by the band, mixed and mastered at the Overlook by William Blackmoon and completed with cover artwork and layout by Mike Fisher Custom Artwork. The record also features guest appearances by Dan Lundberg (Edge Of Obsolesence) and Niklas Frohagen (Forest Of Shadows).
Selfmadegod Records are releasing the CD version of Salvation Through Tyranny which will also contain eight additional bonus tracks: cover tracks by Ingron Hutlos and D.T.A.L as well as the six tracks from the First World Anxiety EP.
