SPB premiere: "Die Old" by Cecil Frena

Posted in MP3s on January 31, 2018

Scene Point Blank is excited to premier a new song from Cecil Frena, “Die Old,” in preview of his upcoming new album The Gridlock. Currently based in Los Angeles and originally from Edmonton, Frena has also performed under the names Born Gold and Gobble Gobble.

As for “Die Old,” it’s a straight forward story, the musician says.

"I got sick of people telling me to die young. I need new rallying cries. I need a new sense of romance. I need to survive, because in this world, that is an act of defiance."

The Gridlock officially releases next Friday, Feb. 9, on Hovercraft Records.
