Solo Dean Ween in prep

The Onion AV Club is reporting that Dean Ween (Mickey Melchiondo) has started work on a solo record to be recorded by Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age). Ween parted ways earlier this year following the release of Aaron Freeman's (Gene Ween) solo debut Marvelous Clouds. The record will include Guy Heller, Claude Coleman, Scott Metzger, Nick Oliveri, Glen McClelland, and others with a goal of releasing in January. No title or name has been formally announced.
