Make Do & Mend have joined Rise Records. The band will head into the studio in February to record the follow-up to the critically acclaimed, End Measured Mile. The hope to have the album out by Summer of 2012. Until then, you can check out their recently released acoustic EP, Part & Parcel, from Paper + Plastick.

Chris Vrenna departs Marilyn Manson

Drummer/keyboardist Chris Vrenna has left Marilyn Manson to pursue other interests, such as film and video game scoring, production and DJ work, and his 2012 Tweaker release. Vrenna has also worked with Nine Inch Nails, Smashing Pumpkins, Guns n'Roses, and Evanescence. Read more
Brother Bear changes name to State Faults

Santa Rosa, CA band Brother Bear has officially changed their name to State Faults. The four-piece group pulls influence from 1990s emo and post-hardcore, and is currently recording their debut full-length. Their Head in the Clouds EP was released last year under the Brother Bear moniker. Read more
