Chris Barrows Band, Pink Lincolns, and more

Rad Girlfriend Records is releasing three Chris Barrows-related projects on June 29: a reissue of The Pink LIncolns Suck and Bloat, an LP from The Spears, and a new EP by The Chris Barrows Band.


Barrows fronts all three projects. The Pink Lincolns formed in 1986 and plays a harder version of pop-punk that was influential on gloryday-era Lookout Records. He is also a current member of The Spears, which also features Sam Williams (Down by Law), Gary Strickland (Hated Youth), and T.J. Weeks (Grave Return). The new LP, Ghosts, has a number of guest appearances, including Greg Ginn in "Born Bad" here:
