Atlanta punk band Reconciler shared a new song and some more updates this week. The new track is called "Shots in the Dark," streaming over at Punknews. The single comes with a label update from the band, specifically that they will be releasing new music in 2024 via new label home Smartpunk Records.

As the band puts it:

We’ve had a lot of hurdles to cross since our last release, from the pandemic to line up changes and even label changes. It's been a long road, and now that we’re here, we wanted to announce this record with a song that would jump out and hit you in the chin. "Shots in the Dark" is a razor-sharp lamentation about disinformation and divisiveness that proves we’ve been hard at work. I think we’re at the top of our game.

The band's last LP was Set Us Free, released pre-pandemic in 2019, with some one-off releases in the time since.

The next record will feature 13 songs and is to be titled Art For Our Sake, release date to be determined.
