Rise Records' founder Craig Ericson has launced a new label, Vaux Records, which has signed Cuntrol (Los Angeles, CA) and J Noire (Nashville, TN) to the roster to begin. The label will partner with Many Hats for distribution and MerchNow for merchandise/online store.
Ericson was with Rise from 1991- 2015, selling it to BMG in 2015. The label released records by At The Drive In, American Nightmare, Hot Water Music, 7 Seconds, and many more. A press release also cites Rise's early adoption of YouTube as a notable dring Ericson's tenure.
