Neighborhood Brats are back with a new 7”, Night Shift, which will be released on March 23, 2017 on Taken By Surprise. Scene Point Blank is excited to share a taste of it here, with the video for the first song and title track here. Their sound seamlessly blends and transitions between various punk subgenres and shows influences ranging from the Runaways and Radio Birdman to The Stooges, The Saints, and Avengers.

The California based band has released numerous EPs, compiled on No Sun No Tan in 2013, and followed up the next year with the release of their only full-length to date, Recovery.

The toll of modern DIY touring wore on the band, who took a hiatus in January 2015.

“Between record pressing plant delays, our personal lives being wrecked, a tour cancellation, lack of support and the band being broke, I needed to be anonymous and not fuck with music for a while. Too many posers. Fuck,” says guitarist and co-founder George Rager.

After some time off, the pull of friendship and making music was too strong. Rager and vocalist Jenny Angelillo regrouped, recruiting drummer Gabe Katz and bassist Tony Teixeira.

Night Shift is available for pre-order now, and the band will embark on a short run of Pacific Northwest dates in North American in March, followed by a European tour in April and early May.
