Lost Bleeding Hearts album (feat. Bob Stinson) coming for Record Store Day

Posted in Records on March 8, 2022

Bar None and Fiasco Records have teamed up for a Record Store Day release of a long-lost album by Bleeding Hearts, Riches To Rags. The Minneapolis, MN based band featured a lineup of singer/songwriter/guitarist Mike Leonard, plus drummer Bob Herbers, bassist Rob Robello, and second guitarist Bob Stinson (The Replacements).

Recorded in 1993, Stinson broke with the band prior to the completion of the album's recording. Bleeding Hearts did continue without Stinson briefly but and his takes were not used until now, 30 years later. Stinson passed away in 1995. Leonard went on to form Magnolias.

The album will now release on 12" vinyl on April 23, 2022. A single will be forthcoming later this month.
