New from Cult of Luna

Posted in Records on December 2, 2021

Feb. 11, 2022 brings a new Cult Of Luna into the world. Titled The Long Road North, the album will release on Metal Blade Records. It is the group's and follow's this year's EP, The Raging River.

"It's a big and cinematic sounding album. I think one of the reasons why we have been able to be so productive the last couple of years is that we have been consistently writing from the heart. We have let our instincts guide us, and I think it's getting clearer where we are heading," vocalist/guitarist Johannes Persson says in a statement.

The band shared a video for "Cold Burn" yesterday, which is an expansive 10-minute piece that is sometimes tense, sometimes cathartic.

Cult Of Luna has tours scheduled in the UK/EU in the spring with Alcest, Caspian, and Holy Fawn, with North American tour plans still to be confirmed.
