On Sept. 6 & 8, 2019, Metallica was joined by a live symphony orchestra for the grand opening of San Francisco's Chase Center to perform collaborative material for the first time since 1999, when the band recorded the material for their album S & M.
S&M2 will be available as a digital album, plus 4LP vinyl, 2CD, DVD and Blu-ray versions, including with limited edition packaging options. Pre-orders are available now and the collection comes out on Aug. 28.
