Wondering what's going on with the always-productive Melvins? They've just unleased the video for "Embrace the Rub" to the world, giving a taste of their new album Pinkus Abortion Technician, releasing on April 20 (Ipecac Recordings).
The song itself has shades of 1980s punk and is just a minute and a half long, written by bassist Steve McDonald. As for the new record, it has eight songs in total and features two bassists on each song: McDonald (Redd Kross, OFF!) and Jeff Pinkus (Butthole Surfers). The band will be touring as a dual bass four-piece starting on April 26.
