Crass Records reissues Captain Sensible + Omega Tribe

Posted in Records on July 30, 2022

Crass Records has two more represses of archival and previously limited releases: an EP from Captain Sensible (The Damned) and anarcho-punk band Omega Tribe's debut, combined on one 12" record. The record consists of Captain Sensible's This Is Your Captain Speaking (1981) and Omega Tribe's Angry Songs (1982).

"These were the very first Sensible solo recordings and preceded my unlikely A&M 'pop star' period only by a few months - anyway, this is what yours truly would've sounded like had he not met synth pop producer Tony Mansfield, but that tale will have to wait for another day,” says Sensible.

The album will release on August 26.
