No. 4 from Dan Vapid and the Cheats

The world gets a new Dan Vapid and the Cheats record in early November. Titled Escape Velocity, the record will release on Nov. 5 via Eccentric Pop Records. It is the group's fourth full-length and features 13 songs of Chicago-style pop-punk.

The recording of Escape Velocity began in January 2020, was interrupted vy the pandemic, and restarted this summer. The band, featuring Dan Vapid (Screeching Weasel, The Riverdales, Sludgeworth, The Methadones, Noise By Numbers, The Mopes, and The Queers), last released Three in 2019, also on Eccentric Pop. The current lineup is Vapid (Vocals/Guitar), Simon Lamb (guitars/vocals), Dillon Dunnagan (bass/vocals), and Gabe Usery (drums/vocals).
